Deserts and Oases

In Casablanca, we'll be staying for 1 night at the Club Val D'Anfa Hotel. Chic and elegant, this hotel boasts an ideal location on Casablanca's popular Corniche just a few feet from the beach and within easy reach of bars, restaurants, nightclubs, entertainment venues and the shopping. The stylish and spacious air-conditioned guest rooms offer an assortment of contemporary amenities, including elegant marble bathrooms, free Internet access, televisions, minibars and panoramic balconies overlooking the ocean. Club Val d'Anfa Hôtel serves a delicious breakfast every morning and features multiple on-site restaurants specializing in authentic Moroccan dishes with an international flair. Guests can relax in the outdoor swimming pool set amidst lush gardens or get pampered with exclusive hammam, sauna, jacuzzi and massage treatments at Club Val's lavish spa lounge.

While in Fez, we’ll be staying 4 nights at the Riad El Amine Fès. Located in the heart of Fez's ancient medina, the riad exhibits an authentic atmosphere of Moroccan art de vivre. This majestic palace is an authentic example of an emblematic 19th-century Moorish architecture, built in the Arabic-Andalusian style. Riad El Amine features a Spa and Wellness Center, offering a wide selection of beauty treatments and a restaurant serving ancestral recipes from the owner's grandmother, paired with modern Moroccan cuisine and Mediterranean flavors. The riad also has room service, laundry service, concierge service, and an indoor swimming pool. All 20 air conditioned rooms and suites are individually decorated with traditional Moroccan interiors and living areas, plus a superb bathroom with a luxury toiletries and a bathrobe. The rooms have TVs, minibars, safes and WiFi access and exude good taste, restfulness and comfort.

In Erfoud, we'll be staying for 1 night at the Hotel Kasbah Chergui. Located near the edge of the Sahara Desert sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, the hotel enjoys magnificent views of the surreal desert landscapes. This smoke-free, newly constructed hotel features an outdoor swimming pool, hammam, full service spa, both indoor and outdoor restaurants serving both international and local cuisines and a poolside bar. The 100 comfortable rooms are decorated in traditional Moroccan style and feature air conditioning, flat screen TV, light blocking draperies, mini-bar, safe, direct-dial telephone and free Wi-Fi. Private bathrooms come fully equipped with a deep soaking bathtub and complimentary toiletries.

We'll spend 1 night at the Berber Desert Camp Bouchedor in the Erg Chebbi of the Sahara Desert, a unique place where you can enjoy the tranquility of the desert, the wild, open spaces and the famous Berber hospitality. This luxury desert Berber camp is perfectly located in the middle of the dunes, from where you can marvel at the spectacular sunrise and the warm colors of the sunset, before experiencing a night in the desert, with its silence and magnificently starry sky. The Bouchedor Restaurant serves traditional Moroccan dishes, made with great care and dedication to ensure an authentic culinary experience. The camp’s luxurious tents are handmade with traditional Berber materials and each is unique in its design. Each tent room features a full bathroom (a rarity in the desert), with hot showers powered by solar electricity, which is an unusual feature for this type of accommodations.

In Boumalne Dades, we'll be staying for 2 nights at the traditional Kasbah Tizzarouine Hotel. Located in the heart of the Dades Valley not far from the Valley of Roses, this atmospheric kasbah combines Berber architecture with contemporary style, with five centuries of history represented in its interior design. The kasbah features an outdoor pool surrounded by gardens, a Turkish spa with hammam and massage treatments, entertainment room, gift shop, laundry service, and an on-site restaurant. The 38 rooms and 12 suites are personalized with exceptional period furniture, inspired by the most remarkable periods of Moroccan art and include free Wi-Fi, LCD TV, gourmet mini bar, tea/coffee-making facilities, phone, in-room safe, and a luxurious bathroom with a marble rain shower or bathtub, hair dryer, and boutique Moroccan argan oil toiletries.

In Marrakech, we'll be staying for 3 nights at Hotel & Ryad Art Place, located in the heart of the Jemaâ El Fna square, in walking distance of the Marrakech Museum, Ben Yussef Madrassa, Koutoubia Minaret and Bahia Palace. Despite being in the very center of the Red City, the hotel itself is a cool oasis of calm and tranquility. The exquisite Art Place is decorated in the rich yet understated Moroccan style, offering a combination of luxury, tradition and a uniquely applied modernity. The pool deck features a beautiful swimming pool, bar and comfortable beds. The panoramic terrace offers a breathtaking view of the city and the snow-capped Atlas Mountains. There is also a fitness center, a library, a renowned restaurant and a cafe. Each room is decorated in traditional Moroccan and period furniture, while featuring modern amenities, including air conditioning, private bathrooms, mini bar, coffee and tea making facilities, safe, telephone, flat screen TV, free Wi-Fi and complimentary toiletries.

In the highly unlikely event that our original accommodations must be changed, the alternative accommodations will be a hotel of equal or higher standard. No change will be made to the cost of the tour.

Why travel with other women?
Many women do not have families or compatible friends who wish to travel. When going on a main-stream tour, women often find that most activities are geared towards couples and quite often they feel left out. Singles' tours are not always what women are looking for. If you do not have a traveling companion, there is also the issue of the expensive "single supplement", sometimes as much as 50 or even 100 percent of the tour cost. By going on women-only tours, women can easily avoid paying for the single supplement by sharing a room with another woman traveler.
