Ireland: Dublin and the Emerald Isle - Accommodations
DUBLIN

In Dublin, we'll be staying for 3 nights at The Fitzwilliam Dublin Hotel. Located in the heart of the city, this luxury design hotel is right on St. Stephen's Green and within walking distance of many Dublin landmarks: the Christ Church Cathedral, Dublin Castle, National Gallery and Trinity College. This chic haven, placed between the tranquility of St Stephen’s Green and to the vibrant Grafton Street, Dublin’s finest shopping avenue, features two restaurants, and the Inn on the Green Pubis open for lunches, snacks and drinks. The hotel has 139 quiet guestrooms, decorated in Baronial Modern style. Tiled bathrooms have bathrobes and power showers, all stylishly decorated bedrooms have air conditioning. Complimentary newspapers are available in the rooms, as well as complimentary wired and wireless Internet access, CD players, in-room safes, minibars, and tea- and coffee-making facilities.

KILLARNEY

In Killarney, we'll be staying for 3 nights at the luxurious 5-star Dunloe Castle Hotel, in Killarney National Park and on the gateway to the Dingle Peninsula. The hotel overlooks the famous Gap of Dunloe and is set on its own 64 acres estate, with manicured pathways leading to the ruins of the 12th century castle and River Laune. Guests can enjoy complimentary leisure activities: swimming, sauna, steam room, techno gym, fishing, horse riding, golf, tennis, tours and walks. All 102 rooms, most of them with spacious balconies or private patios, offer breathtaking views of the gardens or the Gap of Dunloe. The furnishings and décor of the bedrooms are inviting and comfortable. Each room has a satellite television, in-house video, radio, telephone, a refrigerator and spacious bathrooms with hairdryers. With sumptuous bathrooms, fluffy bathrobes and slippers, you can relax and unwind in style.

GALWAY

In Galway, we'll be staying for 3 nights at the boutique Park House Hotel. Perfectly located in the heart of Galway city, the Victorian-style hotel has been welcoming guests since 1975 and is within walking distance of such attractions as the Galway City Museum and Eyre Square, the city itself surrounded by the natural beauty of the Cliffs of Moher and Connemara. The hotel features free Wi-Fi, room service, laundry service, 24-hour front desk, an on-site restaurant offering classical French cuisine with Irish influences and a stylish bar. All 84 rooms are luxurious and spacious, decorated in warm colors and natural wood furnishings, and include premium bedding, a TV, in-room safe, minibar, DVD player, hairdryer, complimentary newspapers on request, tea and coffee-making facilities, and extra large bathroom with luxury eco-friendly toiletries.

In the highly unlikely event that our original accommodations must be changed, the alternative accommodations will be a hotel of equal or higher standard. No change will made to the cost of the tour.

Why travel with other women?
Many women do not have families or compatible friends who wish to travel. When going on a main-stream tour, women often find that most activities are geared towards couples and quite often they feel left out. Singles' tours are not always what women are looking for. If you do not have a traveling companion, there is also the issue of the expensive "single supplement", sometimes as much as 50 or even 100 percent of the tour cost. By going on women-only tours, women can easily avoid paying for the single supplement by sharing a room with another woman traveler.
