We'll start the tour in Reykjavik, where we'll be staying for 5 nights at the traditional Icelandic Reykjavik Hotel Centrum, located in the heart of the city on one of its oldest streets. The hotel spreads over three buildings, and is designed in the style found in Reykjavík around 1900. All 89 rooms are fitted with modern amenities, such as satellite TV, telephone, WiFi Internet, mini-bar, iron and board, hair dryer, safe and tea & coffee making facilities. All rooms have a private bathroom with either a shower or a bath tub. AKUREYRI

In Akureyri, we'll be staying for 3 nights at the upscale, modern Berjaya Iceland Hotel, located in the heart of Akureyri on the main pedestrian street and just a short walk from the main attractions such as Akureyri's Botanical Gardens and Akureyri Church as well as banks, shops, restaurants, parks and recreational facilities. The hotel offers a bar, 24-hour room service, and the Aurora Restaurant aims to use only locally grown, fresh ingredients all year round, specializing in hearty local dishes and of the greatest selections of wines, spirits and cocktails in the north of Iceland.
