CHILE
Santiago, Patagonia and Atacama Desert - Accommodations
SANTIAGO DE CHILE

In Santiago, we’ll be staying for 3 nights at the elegant Solace Hotel. Ideally located in the vibrant Providencia area, with its parks, cafes, and buildings dating back to the 1920s, the hotel is close to the six-level Sky Costanera center with its excellent shopping and restaurants. The hotel features a rooftop pool, a unique vertical garden lounge, fitness center, free Wi-Fi, a cosmopolitan rooftop bar, and an on-site gourmet restaurant offering Chilean and Mediterranean dishes. The 108 guest rooms blend stylish modernity and plush comfort with interiors of Chilean wood and stone, and feature an LED TV, tea and coffee making facilities, in-room safe, air conditioning, complimentary soft drinks, and a bathroom equipped with a shower, hairdryer, and luxury toiletries.

PUERTO NATALES

In Puerto Natales, we’ll be staying for 3 nights at the chateau-style designer Hotel Costaustralis. Offering a panoramic view of the Patagonian fjords, the hotel is located in the heart of the city, near landmarks, shopping and restaurants, and showcases the exhilarating outdoor beauty of Patagonia. The hotel features a business center, free Wi-Fi, an on-site restaurant serving Patagonian cuisine, a bar, and also a wine cellar with a collection from over 30 Chilean vineyards. Each of the 110 rooms features a stunning mountain and fjords views and is appointed with all the comforts the modern traveler seeks, including pillow-top beds, plasma TV, in-room safe, desk, and private bathrooms with a hairdryer and deluxe bath amenities.

SANTIAGO AIRPORT

On our way to Atacama, we'll be staying for 1 night at the comfortable, modern Holiday Inn Santiago Airport. Located directly opposite the Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport, the hotel is just outside the main terminal building and perfectly situated for air travelers going to or from the Chilean capital. The hotel features a sauna, gym, hot tub, heated indoor pool, free Wi-Fi, laundry service, an on-site restaurant overlooking the lake, and a bar. The spacious rooms include floor-to-ceiling windows, flat-screen TV, work space, tea and coffeemakers, air conditioning, in-room safe, phone, hairdryer, and a modern and fully equipped bathroom.

SAN PEDRO DE ATACAMA

In San Pedro de Atacama, we'll be spending 2 nights at the luxury boutique hotel Noi Casa Atacama. Located in the heart of San Pedro just three minutes' walk away from the main square, the hotel is surrounded by breathtaking scenery on the edge of the world's driest desert. Casa Atacama is the first sustainable hotel in northern Chile, and features a year-round outdoor swimming pool and spa facilities, free bike rentals, on-site restaurant offering gourmet local flavors, bar, food shop, and free WiFi. The bright, spacious guest rooms feature large windows with garden views, wood floors, native artwork and furnishings, private terraces, 400-thread-count Egyptian cotton linens and goose down pillows, bathrobes, slippers, and a luxurious bathroom overlooking a private garden with name-brand bath amenities.

In the highly unlikely event that our original accommodations must be changed, the alternative accommodations will be a hotel of equal or higher standard. No change will made to the cost of the tour.

Why travel with other women?
Many women do not have families or compatible friends who wish to travel. When going on a main-stream tour, women often find that most activities are geared towards couples and quite often they feel left out. Singles' tours are not always what women are looking for. If you do not have a traveling companion, there is also the issue of the expensive "single supplement", sometimes as much as 50 or even 100 percent of the tour cost. By going on women-only tours, women can easily avoid paying for the single supplement by sharing a room with another woman traveler.
