|  Tour Director: Marlene Boyer The magical voyage around the southern tip of South America will take in some of the most outstanding natural beauty on the planet, as we explore 4 countries and 10 ports. Starting from Santiago de Chile and the bohemian city of Valparaiso, with its colorful houses stacked up on the hills and overlooking the glorious Pacific Ocean, we'll sail to the heart of the iconic Chilean fjords region, featuring the spectacular Garibaldi fjord and Garibaldi glacier, a breath-taking wall of sapphire colored ice, as well as the perfectly shaped Osorno Volcano in Puerto Montt. Sailing along the Chilean Patagonia with its turquoise lakes, waterfalls, and astounding ice-covered mountains, we'll arrive in Ushuaia, the world's southernmost city, before our journey takes us to the storied Falkland Islands, or Malvinas, where we'll get to visit with the charismatic King penguins and Gentoo penguins. Back to the shores of South America, we'll arrive in Argentina's Puerto Madryn, a vibrant coastal city, famous for its rich marine wildlife, including whales, penguins, and sea lions. As the journey comes to its conclusion, we'll explore the eclectic Montevideo which blends historic elegance with funky modern vibrancy, and a mix of colonial architecture with lively markets and scenic waterfronts, before arriving in Buenos Aires, a cosmopolitan city of tango, football, stunning modern architecture, and the historical paradoxes. In-between the ports and the excitement of interacting with the Antarctic animals, we'll enjoy days at sea which will allow us to truly relax and share in the stories of our adventures.
