This stylish and comfortable hotel, located conveniently at the Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport, offers upscale rooms with a contemporary design, and it features an outdoor pool, a spa, a wellness center, a gym and a restaurant. Each room is tastefully furnished and equipped with satellite television, direct-dial telephone, complimentary WiFi, tea and coffee making facilities, hairdryer, electronic safe, mini bar, air-conditioning, porter service and wake-up services. A buffet breakfast is served daily in the dining room, and the Bernoulli’s Restaurant offers a wide selection of Mediterranean cuisine and a salad buffet. The hotel provides a complimentary airport shuttle from and to the airport.

VICTORIA FALLS

In Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe, we'll be staying for 2 nights at the Victoria Falls Safari Lodge. Set high on a plateau overlooking the Zambezi National Park, the hotel is just minutes from the majestic Victoria Falls. This deluxe 72-roomed African Lodge prides itself on hospitality rivaled only by uninterrupted views and magnificent sunsets. Created with a keen eye for detail: hardwoods, thatch, vibrant colors, it creates an awe inspiring effect. Each bedroom has its own balcony, air-conditioning and a modern bathroom. In the Buffalo Bar, Makuwa-Kuwa Restaurant and pool deck, the guests enjoy great views and excellent service of the Zimbabwean staff renowned for their warmth. An on-site waterhole attracts a wide variety of game, including elephants, buffalo, impala and kudu. The award winning Boma restaurant is partially open to the African skies and sheltered by the indigenous Gusu forest. The thatched boma has an open fire to enhance the vibrant atmosphere, as it offers a unique African experience and a wide selection of traditional dishes. Dinner includes African entertainment and drumming practice.

KASANE

In Kasane, Botswana, in the Chobe National Park, we'll be staying for 2 nights at the Cresta Mowana Lodge, situated on the banks of the Chobe River, where the Kwando, Linyanti and Chobe River systems form a mosaic of lakes, islands, channels and floodplains, renowned for its vast herds of elephant and buffalo. Along with the Big Five, the area boasts the largest concentration of elephants in Africa, and the game drives and boat cruises offer the opportunity to witness an amazing spectacle. The lodge offers a pool, a restaurant featuring both local and international cuisine, and the Savuti Bar with spectacular views over the Chobe River is the perfect location to toast to an African sunset. There is a Health & Beauty Salon, Gym, tennis courts and a golf course. The 112 luxury rooms have a modern design with lavish comfort in mind. They feature bathrooms with a bath or shower, air-conditioning, satellite TV, WiFi, minibar and balconies with exquisite views over Chobe National Park.

In the highly unlikely event that our original accommodations must be changed, the alternative accommodations will be a hotel of equal or higher standard. No change will made to the cost of the tour.

Why travel with other women?
Many women do not have families or compatible friends who wish to travel. When going on a main-stream tour, women often find that most activities are geared towards couples and quite often they feel left out. Singles' tours are not always what women are looking for. If you do not have a traveling companion, there is also the issue of the expensive "single supplement", sometimes as much as 50 or even 100 percent of the tour cost. By going on women-only tours, women can easily avoid paying for the single supplement by sharing a room with another woman traveler.
