Today, we'll get immersed in the story of Dubai's ascend to the future. After a leisurely breakfast, we'll enjoy a private tour of the city, highlighting its futuristic skyscrapers and modern architectural marvels, the symbols of the city's position as a major metropolis: not only the iconic Burj Khalifa, but also the Opus, the Dubai Frame, the Dubai Opera, the Cayan Tower, the Tolerance Bridge and countless others. After reaching the celebrated Dubai Marina, we'll get to catch our breath, as we enjoy a delicious local lunch, before boarding a private catamaran to admire Dubai's skyline from the water, a trip that will showcase more of Dubai's highlights: Palm Jumeirah, Burj Al Arab Hotel and The World Archipelago, as we are getting more insights into the city's amazing story. On the way back to Dubai Downtown, we'll stop at several more iconic sights, and we'll return to the hotel in the afternoon. The evening today will be free to spend at leisure.

Day 3: Abu Dhabi

After experiencing all the drama and glitter of Dubai, today we'll travel to Abu Dhabi, to tour the refined treasures of the United Arab Emirates' capital city. We'll start with the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, a snow-white visual extravaganza, drenched in gold leaf, decorated with crystal chandeliers, semi-precious stones and floral marble inlays, surrounded by reflective pools and topped with shiny, onion shaped domes. After touring the mosque, we'll continue to Jumeirah at Etihad Towers, for an outstanding view of the city from the 74th floor observation platform, followed by an elegant afternoon tea in the filtered sun-filled restaurant. Afterwards, we'll drive past the magnificent Emirates Palace Hotel admiring the stunning architecture of this opulent hotel, before arriving at The Louvre Abu Dhabi Museum to indulge in the world's greatest art, contained within some of the world's most creative architecture.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodations: Vida Downtown Boutique Hotel

Day 4: Dubai's Al Fahidi Historic District

This morning, we'll set out to experience a totally different side of Dubai, the Al Fahidi Historical District. During a guided tour of this oldest part of Dubai, we'll get a dose of the Arabian Nights flair, as we explore the tangible Middle Eastern architecture and culture in the district's labyrinth of ancient lanes with beautifully restored Arabic courtyard houses and wind towers, decorated with arabesque windows and intricate screens. We'll stop at several craft shops, small heritage museums, the highly informative Women's Museum, and end at the Coffee Museum, where we'll get to experience an authentic Arabic coffee ceremony. Afterwards, there will be some time for lunch and for shopping in the endless souks, including the famous Gold Souk, and we will end our day with a locally inspired dinner at an upscale restaurant.
Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner
Accommodations: Vida Downtown Boutique Hotel

Day 5: Jumeirah, La Perle performance

Today, we'll explore the Jumeirah district of Dubai, hemmed by the turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf and overlooking the imposing Burj Al Arab. We will start the day with a visit to Jumeirah Mosque, for an informative and entertaining tour by a local guide, before we move on to Madinat Jumeirah. The word Jumeirah means "beautiful" and the area lives up to this presumption: originally a village of 45 palm leaf huts of fishermen and pearl divers, today it has been recreated as a low, sand-colored, and atmospheric Arabic town, complete with wind towers, a souk, and abras plying its canals past opulent private villas and manicured gardens. We'll explore the area on foot and by a traditional abra boat, and after lunch, we'll enjoy the newly opened Museum of the Future which will take us on a journey through possible futures, bringing hope and knowledge back to the present. The afternoon will be free to enjoy the spectacular Dubai beaches, shop, or just relax and admire the cityscape. In the evening, we'll transfer to Al Habtoor City for a mesmerizing show La Perle, a live masterpiece, produced by the legendary creative director Franco Dragon.
Meals included: Breakfast, Lunch
Accommodations: Vida Downtown Boutique Hotel

Day 6: Desert Adventure

Today, the morning will be free to enjoy some last minute shopping (we recommend The Mall of the Emirates), and in the afternoon, we'll travel deep into the Arabian Desert, where we'll experience a luxury Desert Safari. The adventure will start with an exhilarating ride through the Dubai Desert Conservation Reserve admiring the indigenous wildlife brought back by the environmental conservation efforts. Once we arrive at a small oasis, we'll ride camels, traversing the desert to a location, where we'll watch a world-class falcon show presented with the help of a Saluki dog. We'll visit a Bedouin village, learn about life of these nomadic tribes, and enjoy a traditional meal, before heading back to the modern times in Dubai.
Meals included: Breakfast, Dinner
Accommodations: Vida Downtown Boutique Hotel
