BRAZIL AND ARGENTINA / October - November 2020

The Wonders of Brazil and Argentina
October 21 - November 2, 2020 | $5,880

Brazil is synonymous with a passion for life and a diversity of both nature and culture. We’ll traverse the bustling, sensual metropolis of Rio de Janeiro, enjoy a panoramic feast of the breath-taking Iguazu Falls, and journey through the last great wilderness on Earth, the Amazon rainforest, teeming with thousands of species of animals and plants. From Brazil we’ll continue to the neighboring Argentina, where we’ll be immersed in the sophistication and the fiery passion of Buenos Aires, finding Argentina's soul in the glamorous tango, excellent wines, nouvelle cuisine, Pampas horseriding and Gauchos.

CHILE / February 2020

THIS TOUR IS FULL.

Santiago, Patagonia and Atacama Desert
February 12 - 21, 2020 | $4,980

Chile is a bewitching place of extremes: millennial glaciers in the southernmost part of the planet, enchanted forests, massive volcanoes, remote islands full of legends, and great wines. We’ll tour Patagonia, a mythic land of fjords, mountains and glaciers hidden among green landscapes that give way to the horizon that disappears at the end of the world. The Atacama, framed by the formidable grandeur of the Andes is the driest place on Earth, yet it is dotted with fertile oases and its otherworldly landscapes sustain an abundance of life. Unlike any other environment you'll find in Chile, or indeed anywhere else on the planet, a visit to Atacama is like taking a step into another world entirely. We’ll conclude in the multi-faceted city of Santiago surrounded by photogenic vineyards producing some of the world’s best wines.

The tour may be combined with the Easter Island tour to Chile (February 21 - 24, 2020)

ECUADOR / February 2020

ONE ROOM LEFT (SINGLE OR SHARED)

The Wonders of the Galápagos
February 3 - 11, 2020 | $4,990
The enchanted Galápagos Islands, with their volcanic, otherworldly landscapes, are a magnet for wildlife lovers. Until their discovery in 1535, the islands were completely isolated from the mainland, so the species living here developed to adopt to this unique environment, and are different from anywhere else in the world. Until recently, these animals had no exposure to people and never learned to fear them, so they are extremely tame around humans. The islands’ moon like landscapes of mist-covered volcanic peaks, red sand beaches, and strange forests of prickly pear cactus are full of prehistoric looking iguanas, giant tortoises, doe-eyed sea lions playing with you while you snorkel, vividly pink flamingoes, blue-footed boobies performing their "sky pointing" dance, and hunting penguins swimming around your legs.

PERU / November 2020

Why travel with other women?
Many women do not have families or compatible friends who wish to travel. When going on a main-stream tour, women often find that most activities are geared towards couples and quite often they feel left out. Singles' tours are not always what women are looking for. If you do not have a traveling companion, there is also the issue of the expensive "single supplement", sometimes as much as 50 or even 100 percent of the tour cost. By going on women-only tours, women can easily avoid paying for the single supplement by sharing a room with another woman traveler.
