DUBROVNIK
AND THE DALMATIAN COAST

TOUR OVERVIEW

Thank you so much for making my trip to Croatia such a wonderfully unforgettable and fun experience. Not only did you share the beauty and culture of the country with us, you shared its soul...and left me with some very special memories for a lifetime.
Sheila from Montana

Dalmatian Coast is defined by the sapphire waters of the Adriatic Sea, and Croatia is where over the centuries the richest Mediterranean cultures have intersected and influenced each other.

During the Dubrovnik and the Dalmatian Coast tour, you will explore Roman ruins in ancient, white marble cities, Greek temples strewn among the hills, Byzantine mosaics in shadowy, candle-lit churches and ornately carved Venetian palaces. You will discover the quintessential Mediterranean landscapes of spellbinding red-roofed towns spilling to the sea, idyllic beaches and secret coves surrounded by the Earth's bluest sea and timeless islands rising out of the horizon. You will enjoy the lovely Dalmatian Coast spirit which fills the air with the scent of lavender and cedar, with warmth and unhurried pace, sample great seafood and amazing wines, sail on the antique galleon, learn to weave silk from Dalmatian women and enjoy the spectacular show of nature among the impossible waterscape of blue-green lakes and waterfalls in Plitvice Lakes National Park.
  • You will spend the first 5 days in a historic boutique hotel within the walls of 1,700 years old Diocletian's Palace in the marble city of Split and the following 5 days in a luxurious seaside resort hotel in the ancient city of Dubrovnik. This is not a drive-through tour and you will change hotels only once.
  • While in Split, you will take a private, in-depth tour of the Diocletian Palace and an exclusive, curator led tour of the Ivan Mestrovic Sculpture Gallery. You will also visit the Venetian island-town of Trogir, discover the beautiful Island of Hvar and explore the Plitvice Lakes National Park.
  • While in Dubrovnik, you will explore the ancient Old Townsail to the Adriatic Sea Elaphite Archipelago islands on a replica of a galleon boat and tour the Dalmatian countryside, with its wineries and lively folklore traditions, including silk weaving.
  • You will spend a day in the country of Bosnia and Herzegovina, visiting Mostar with its famous bridge, considered the very point where the East and the West meet.
  • Throughout the tour you will dine in carefully selected gourmet restaurants and sample many delicious Dalmatian wines and exceptional seafood.
  • There will be opportunities for enjoying the spa treatments and massage, sea kayaking and horse riding (and no experience is necessary).
